Why did you name your boxer..??

As hubby and I are both huge fans of the series "Charmed" we've got that theme for our pups. We've got Cole, Piper and Phoebe..Hubby named Cole and I named the girls. Although, they have a myriad of nick names..Both of our skin kids call Cole - Canoli (from the Italian pastry) hubby calls him "Mr. Cole" or "King Cole" b/c he says he's so very regal....Piper is "Miss Piper" and the little one Phoebe is "Phoebe Jo"..I gave her my middle name....am I not a nut case!! Our next baby is on the way and I'm breaking from the theme a bit, it's a girl and I didn't want Pru or Paige so I'm naming her Presley..it's still a "P" and I thought it was cute and as of yet, I've not seen another boxer with that name. I think we are stopping at 4, I don't know that I could handle more than that..but they are like chips..can you have just 1 or 2 or 3 or 4???

Charmed Ones

KimKing01 - I will certainly try to get the pics posted very soon..I've been meaning to do it, really I have....I'll try my best to get them up this weekend..I want everyone to see the "Charmed Ones" too....their registered names are all from Charmed too..Phoebe's is my favorite..It's Qujo's Charmed 'n' Dangerous..Qujo (Q-jo) is a combo between dh and my middle names. I'll get the pics up asap!

Honeymoon we'll never forget

My wife and I were came back from our honeymoon alittle earlier than expected. Very shortly thereafter we picked up our new puppy. After racking our brains in search of a name it hit us! Ivan! It was perfect! Not because it sounds cool or tough, but because our honeymoon was cut short due to hurricane Ivan hitting Jamacia!

Jake got his name from a song my DH kept singing. "Feed Jake, he's been a good dog". We had thought about Ceasar, Hank, Elvis, and Vader. But Jake just stuck.

We decided on Cinnamin to name our new baby girl b/c I got her from my nephew's kennel he runs - all of his pups are named after different spices . . . thought I'd keep up the tradition!

Mo chuisle (muh kwish-la)

I named my Boxer this for a couple of reasons. I was assigned this movie for viewing to help deal with my mother's death, and I got my pup within 10 days and was still moved by the movie and the heart of the female boxer character, hence I named my female boxer after the gaelic nickname in the movie "Mo Chuisle" which means my pulse, my family, my darling. I call her Mo' Chi for short which is pronounced MoKie.

My son wanted to name our Bridget "Tiger Lilly" because she is tiger striped. However, I didn't want to call a little girl Tiger and I couldn't call her Lilly because it was too close to Libby, the name of our Schnauzer (Libby Beth). Even at 3 lbs Bridget thought she was incharge. So, I teased and called her our Little Brigadier General. That's when the name Bridget just flew out of my mouth. My son and Husband loved it. It fits her well...our "Bridgetier General".

My husband wanted BOOZER!

I said no way to Boozer, so he said how about Kessler...(he doesn't even drink very much!) I told him Kessler was better, but not quite...so we decided on Morgan...after Captain Morgan.
My parents own a christmas tree farm in Wisconsin so we named her after the tree farm "Miss Morgan of Mosquito Hill"

I named my girl TUTSI because my first female boxer had that name , but it all started because she is very sweet and I was looking for a sweet name.
