what strange things has your boxer eaten?

tiny carpet fuzz......onions...potato peels....

he's the garbage expert, he can get something out of the very bottom of a full garbage can, without making a mess, dropping things on the ground, or knocking the can over. and it even has a lid that hes figured out how to open!

hes eaten the entire underside of our bed. sticks, a chicken bone (he got it out of the garbage.) cardboard from the recycle, the other day i found him running out of the bathroom with a bar of soap in his mouth.. he didnt eat it, but he dropped it on the floor and started licking it.

Jake kept eating his bed, then i found an indestructible bed, with a life time guarantee, very expensive, had to buy two, one for the other boxer Roxie. The beds held up and after two days of Jake trying his best to destroy them, i laughed at him. I came home and he had the last laugh, he had ripped up ALL the linoleum in the kitchen.

I'm laughing soo hard as I read al the other posts! I'm so glad Bugzy isn't the only one that would eat anything and everything. Bugzy has done the whole eat poop thing, but our vet gave us this "Forbid" stuff, and after putting a pack or two in his food, he has never done it again.

Bugzy has chewed three window sills, I had them repaired, and the next day he ate them again! So much for fixing things!Although, after making his intial mark, he hasn't bothered them again.

He has eaten every toy imaginable! There is NOTHING that he cannot destroy given time. We got him a "durable" bed for christmas and he had it shredded, eaten, and digested by christmas night! We have just learned to watch him closely and not to expect toys to last very long. All I can say is thank God for Kongs(the one toy that is really tough enough to stand up to a Boxer)!!!

Okay here's a small run down: 3 lbs. of fudge, loaf of bread ( I found what was leftk 2 days later shoved in the sofa), all my son's valentine candy, fish food, absolutely loves freaking turtle food pellets (ate 2 jars of that last week), kleenex, and the list continues....the fudge was the worst, doc gave her something to puke and it was the worst smell EVER!!! Gotta love em!

Buddy is only 11 weeks old, but has already found a favorite snack in Crayons. (lucky they're non-toxic!). We have a 4 year old son who loves to color, and has a tendency to leave crayons within reach of the puppy. Needless to say, we have VERY colorful piles in the backyard!

Mateus loves deer poop and for awhile there he was digging around in my cat's litter box for his poop. He grew out of the cat poop thing, but from what I heard deer poop is like candy to dogs. It is not uncommon for them to like it. Just gross!!

I'm sorry, I'm sure that this was not funny to you at all at the time, but I just laughed out loud when I read this. Leave it to a boxer to always go further than you ever thought possible!

I hit the wrong button on the keyboard and posted before I was done.
Sorry about that.

Kennocha eats everything. I can always tell her poop apart from our other boxers because the other poop doesn't have any extra "ingredients".
She also loves to eat my daughters underwear. She's done that twice and then throws it up in the middle of the night. I always ask my daughter if she wants it back......"MOM!! EEEUUWWWW!!!!"

I think Myles has an iron stomach!! He's eaten so many "bad" things that I thought we'd have to make a trip to the vet for, but nothing yet (fingers are crossed!). He's constantly eating the stuffing out his stuffed animals. I, too, find extra things in the backyard while cleaning up the dog poop. We've definitely been lucky so far!!

concrete!!! Toby LOVES to eat concrete and bricks. In our garden we've got some concrete slabs, and he always licks them or some times he tries to chew on the corners.

I usually pick him up and move him somwhere else as I don't think this can be very good for him, he's only 9 weeks old, so mabe he'll grow out of it.
