I wouldn't leave the underwear on her when she is in the c rate. She needs to air out and she will probably keep herself quite clean given the opportunity. Just put them on when she is loose in the house and is being supervised.

my girls love towels and tissues and cardboard but their favorite thing seems to be the REMOTE CONTROLLS AND THE TELEPHONES

Dryer sheets are the true favorite...leather boot, cable cords, blankets, pillow cases, school supplies, straws, soap, ect....Thank God they have iron stomach's....esp with the boot issue!

Thanks, but we've learned to "Sammi-proof" the house for all paper products. We've got wastepaper baskets with step-on opening tops. And we make sure all the other items are unattainable to her, but last night, my brother, who is visiting for a while (and Sammi is very close to) was sitting on the floor with her, and she snuck her muzzle into his pants pocket, that happened to have a tissue in it. Very funny...she went from a stealth recon dog to a jet, when she grabbed it and ran for another room! gotta love them!!!:D

Sami ate the cats toy. It was a furry mouse with a large bell inside. She is always in the trash looking for something but this one scared me. In a frantic I called vet and she said to give her 2 oz of peroxide and take her a fast walk on leash for a few minutes so it would fizz and make her vomit. We did and it came up.

Cooper ate baler twine (ties a bale of hay together)
I didnt even know she ate it until I had to pull it out of her bum. It was actually funny, because she kept on looking at her bum, and here was a long orange cord hanging to the ground!

roxy LOOOOOOVES candles... and they are no fun to clean up once they are shredded into a million pieces....!

and right now she is working on the christmas tree that is waiting to be hulled away from our yard ( i know its march but...) she comes into the house each morning with pine fresh breath and pine needles coming out of her chops- so funny!

on a serious note: roxy ate a HUGE amout of cookies right after christmas. (my roommates didn't realize that she could get at the stuff on the dining room table.) i had no idea what kind of chocolate was used or how much exactly she ate ( all stuff you need to know to determine how toxic the food was..) so the vet told me to give her some hydrogenproxide to make her vomit, so that she wouldn't absorb the chocolate. (i don't remember the amount, so call your vet and ask first!) and let me tell you- cookies, lunch and breakfast all came up in a matter of minutes.

so i'd recommend a 65 cent bottle of peroxide for your medicine cabnet for those of you who have a hungry boxer lurking around! :p

Eating weird things

My boy Kaiser loves wash cloths. He has probably eaten 6 of them. Not at once but individualy. We can usually tell when he has done this cause he won't eat anything. Then in the middle of the night, he throws it back up luckily. It smells soooo bad. After that, he's good to go. Good luck!!

Boo eats EVERYTHING that is laying on the ground. Her favorite thing thought is my hair scrunchies. I have to put them in a drawer--even then sometimes she fishes them out. About a year ago, she ate one and when it came out the other end, she put it back where she found it...in my bed (poop & all) .

I have to pull things out of her hiney all the time. She rips up soft toys and if we don't catch it, she eats the fluff. My husband says she's like carp--a bottom feeder.:rolleyes:

Skye doesn't share her need to eat everything. He just eats poop. Any type any species. Yum.:rolleyes:

Gotta love them.
