DH is in the AirForce. He is a military policemand. I am a leasing agent for a property management company. Between us we make good money but I seem to spend it all on stuff for the babies:)

My DH foots the bills right now! LOL! actually, I was a vet tech for about the past 10 years, and luckily one of the perks was I never paid much for my vet care, or I was able take care of my animals "off the clock" for nothing--and Norton took full advantage of that! Right now I am not working and about to start grad school (whole new field/career plan--social work!) so my poor DH gets stuck with the bills (he's in the military--Navy--works with aircraft/F18 jets, BTW)!

DH is a union pipefitter and I work part time in a small 3 person office. My job is great. I have flexibility so if one of the skinkids is sick, I can stay home with them. I also bring Bayleigh to work with me occasionally!
Im a Union Pipefitter wife too! Local 525. DH is in the apprentiship program working his butt off and im a Receptionist/AP. Love my job but its just to busy right now.

Hubby pays all the bills with his job at the US Postal Service. I'm lucky, I've been a stay-at-home mom to by teen-ager and my fur baby for the past 4 years. Before that I worked as a baker/cake decorater for 10 years.

I do payroll and other odd jobs that might come along at a shipping company. I also work for a babysitting company (I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that job). I'm also a grad student. I don't even clear 20k a year, so I have to budget a lot! I'm very independent and take pride in the fact that I take care of most things myself (including $975 a month rent) with only a little occasional help from my parents. If all goes as planned, I'll start teaching high school Spanish this fall and my income will double!!!

I am a goverment employee so only make $40,000 a year.

Hey I would love to make that kind of money working for the state! I work for the state and only make 27,000. I'm a single mom of one boy in college and one 16 year old girl. We some how seem to make it work and the pups still get their bones, toys and regular vet care.

I'm working on the DH part really hard right now

My husband drives a truck here locally and I am a paralegal. I stayed home for about 2 years with my daughter. I couldn't take it anymore, I was bored and I wanted my own paycheck again so I went back to work and school and now I am very happy with my job. I wish I could only work p/t some of the time but oh well :)

Well right now I pay all the bills I work in a factory type job, we make sandwiches and then pack them up for shipping. In a normal day we make anywheres from 8-10,000. Dh works construction/concrete so hes layed off in the winter but shovels off people's roofs and plows their driveways for some extra money on the side. So during the winter we have to budget alot and in the summer we save alot so we are able to make it through the winter. i'm also going to school but will be done in 4 weeks!

I feel ya. I started at 23k a year at the state. Imagine my surprise when I got out of college and I found a job making so little and not in my field. I have been there for 7 years and got a few promotions. I love the security of working for the state and the benefits, but I am considering going back to school. And I am working on the whole DH thing too. I try not to be embarrassed by never been married, no children and still not a career I love. They say the 30's are the new 20's so thats good to hear.
