Max will eat anything from ice cubes salads
trash, and of course whatever my yougest son Gage is eating . He also likes fruit, well Max will eat almost everthing
My boxer will eat probably just about anything you would give them....and some things they shouldn't eat.
Soap has to be kept put up. Some of them also like to *read*. (they like to eat paper)
As far as more *normal* food items:
apples, mellons, bananas (boys don't like them though), grapes (but only if you break them first, or otherwise they spit them out and they go rolling across the floor!), green beans, potatoes, meat, etc.
Maggie is at the stage where she'll eat most anything she sees. Glad we learned the "leave it" command. It helps. But she really seems to like earthworms and bird doo. I must pull 3 or 4 earthworms out of her mouth on each walk. I didn't even know we had earthworms in Brooklyn, but she seems to find them everywhere. Unreal.
As for people food, sorry but I don't believe in feeding dogs people food of any kind. I can't stand having dogs beg for scraps of food at the table when I'm trying to eat or have a guest over for dinner. How rude. Maggie knows by now that she isn't going to get any of my food, so she doesn't even both to come around when I eat. She just goes and plays with her toys or sleeps when I eat now. Plus, from all I've read, dogs' digestive systems aren't conducive to digesting people food. They have much shorter intestines and less time to fully digest foods, especially processed people foods. Therefore, I only give my Maggie the best dog food and doggie treats I can find. Just my opinion.

What is it with Boxers and ice cubes? Mine loves ice cubes too. I put them in his water dish to make the water last longer, and the crazy dog pulls them out and eats them all. My teeth are very sensitive to cold things, and when I hear him crunching up those ice cubes it sends chills up and down my spine! He and the beagle also like wood and red licorice.

Nitro loves acorns. He seems to be in competition with the squirels as to who can hoard more. I find them all over the house. He also likes deer meat (any kind). Flowers, dirt, leaves, all my parents flowers. His visits are now shortened. He's young so I'm sure there will be plenty of other things he'll try or make an attempt.
As a puppy, Rockee ate pool chemicals, mini peanut butter cups with the foil wrappers and the RealLemon plastic lemon with juice.
Now that she is a grand old lady, she like grapes, popcorn, and nachos with hot salsa. She also likes anything my 2 year old grandson is eating, and she is polite enough to wait until he offers it.
