Harley will eat just about anything we eat but he loves grapes, especially frozen ones! He nibbles on them in his front teeth and peels the skin off and then he eats the rest of the grape.

My two can't live without ICE-CUBES. Whenever I try to make a nice cold drink..... they are sitting there drooling. You would think it was a nice fat juicy steak. At least ice-cubes are cheap and non-fat. :D
You just gotta love them.

Asy, you are cracking me up...yes that was my mental image until I kept reading! :D Too Funny!!!

Cooper is not a very weird eater. But Mugzy used to just die for a banana! He had such a monkey face anyway. He NEVER counter surfed except if I did not push the bunch of bananas back far enough. He would he the peel and everything! YUK! He also would jump to eat the apples off of my parents apple trees when I lived at home. And eventually Matt and I had to put a fence around our garden because he would eat the tomatoes off of the vine. Oh yeah, once he ate a fresh whole bar of Dove soap. And that dog almost never vomited or had loose stools. Because he had been a stray, we used to say he must have sustained himself out of a fruit warehouse or something.

Sergeant loves most fruit. We have some thornless blackberries in the garden, when I go and pick some there is 'silent begger' waiting at the edge of the garden for any handout. Now, when Gunther takes him for a walk up a certain road, he pulls over to the blackberry bushes that grow there, he wants Gunther to pick him some. He also loves Hazelnuts, we have 3 trees and now the nuts have just started falling from the trees. He picks the largest ones and can crack them with just one bite.

Fruit Fruit and more Fruit that is what Buddy likes to eat. He has never refused any type of fresh fruit. He also loves tomato season. He picks his own tomato from the vine, peels it with his front teeth and eats it. Luckily he is able to distinquish the ripe ones from the green ones. He only picks the ripe ones. This makes it handy for him when he's in the backyard and needs a snack,he just helps himself to the garden. Unfortunatly for Buddy this year, we just moved into this home late spring and didn't get the garden planted so he's had to rely on us going to market and getting tomatos. We don't dare put the basket within his reach though.
On a weirder note though, we have a major problem with Buddy having an acquired taste for bird poop! I haven't figured this one out, but we sure have to watch him when he's outside because the birds always leave him a fresh smorgasbord every day. Is he lacking something in his diet? Whatever it is it sure makes you hesitate accepting any kisses from him for a while after he's been in the backyard by himself.

Indy has to have his canned dog food chilled in the refrigerator before he will eat it. The colder, the better. He's such a weirdo!!! He also loves ice and will drive you crazy if you bring a cold drink to den to watch tv. I have to end up giving it to him - I can't imagine that diet coke is good for him - he loves it! Although it's not edible, he loves bar soap, too. If you bring any samples from hotels home, he will root through luggage until he finds it...Beauty eats anything and everything...

My boxers don't eat too many weird things--probably because I don't offer it to them.

But, as a kid we had a yellow lab that loved watermellon rinds. :p
