Ruby and Lexi have been on a roll lately. Today my husband was so poud of his first good sized tomato. He brought it into the kitchen and placed it in the middle of the kitchen table. Guess what? When he went to eat the tomato, it was GONE. He wasn't too happy...but what could he do?
Some other things they chewed up or has eaten:
2 wicker baskets
heel of a white shoe
DVD case.
cardboard box
a used pad....gross!!!
box of pancake mix (You should have seen their faces!!)
1 red pepper...seeds were all over the carpet.

That's all I can remember, but I KNOW there were more things!!

Well...

Piper is partial to the paper products as well:

1 roll of toilet paper (removed from the roller of course)
several items out of the laundry basket that I was folding while cooking dinner
my pant leg
what little bit of wrapping paper I had left on the roll, as well as the core.
dryer sheets
crayons ( I could kill the kids for leaving them down)
foam paper plates
plastic fork & spoons
a couple of bugs and leaves on our nightly walk.

I guess that's all for this evening, there will be new adventures tomorrow:LOL:

I forgot to add this.

The other day, I had the boxers on the patio w/ me. All at once I noticed Lexi, my 9 mo. old grabbing something on the cement. I watched and finally figured out she was attacking and eating the ants. Then Ruby went over to Lexi, wondering what she's eating. Next thing I know, they were both chasing ants and eating them. The funny thing was when Lexi was on a chase for an ant and Ruby couldn't find one, Ruby would go over to Lexi and "try" to get her ant. But lexi wouldn't let her do that. She would snap at Ruby keeping her away. It was early in the morning, and I was by myself, laughing like crazy. They make me laugh so much!!

We've been lucky with Logan so far. He's good and there is always some one with him for the most part. But two days ago he turned over a pvc planter bench outside, emptied the 24 inch deep planters on either end completely of dirt and emptied and chewed up the six little pots sitting in them. I guess it's okay since they were going away anyway.

Hmmm Things DC has chewed on...

The cord to a vacuum cleaner.
The cord to another vacuum cleaner
The cord to ANOTHER vacuum cleaner
The cord to a carpet cleaner
The headlight switch to my truck.
7 remote controls
more game controllers than I can count (easily more than ten)
3 bricks off my fire pit - broke them off and chewed them into pieces

Gator dawg has an assortment of pillows and couch corners, and the stock of my Marlin 30-30, a rifle given to me by my grandfather.

My sympathies for the loss of your Clive Barker books. I like reading his stuff.

Well i think we have been pretty lucky. Brandy hasn't destroyed or chewed much other than when she was little and would steal underwear - loved mummy's bras.

Tigger on the other hand and i'm sure big sister brandy has helped in some things:-

mummy's sunlounge- the cushion part (we used to leave it out so they could lay on it in the sun) came home and we had white foam stuffing everywhere and while we were picking it up they were trying to get it as well - i was quite mad at them as it was a xmas pressie from hubby but they now don't have it to sun themselves until i can afford to replace it anyway.
slippers
rolls of toilet paper
daddy's flip flops
foam mattress
they're stuffed toys (which are ok with us they are theirs)
scrunchies (hair things) tigger tries to get them while still in mummy's hair - ouch boy can he jump high

and thats about it but i'd never leave him or her alone inside the house with free rein because we wouldn't have a house to come home to

they are lucky they are so damm cute and that we love them to pieces

Amish friendship bread batter

Gracie and Ty ate the batter that I was going to make bread out of. They stole it off of the counter (it is a batter that you keep in a ziplock bag and bake it on the 10th day). At least they took it outside in the yard to eat/rip to shreds instead of splattering it all over the kitchen and rest of the house. I know they both were guilty because they both were a little sick later. I was so mad--not only has the batter been taking up space on my counter for 10 days, but I was really looking forward to making and eating the bread! Stinkers!
Gracie never used to counter-surf before Ty came along. It seems to be his only bad trait though, so I shouldn't complain--I know others have had much bigger problems with adopting a 2 year old dog!

we have to be careful tho... my uncle's boxer managed to jump and get a bag of rat poison off a high shelf and poisoned himself... so sad... :(

Thankfully now that they are older, we haven't had any major disasters recently. But a funny thing happened the other night with Ray and a piece of paper.

Often if there happens to be a piece of paper of some sort around, we will roll it in a ball and throw it around for a bit for Ray, but we always take it away when it starts getting mushy. My husband was teasing Ray and took a small piece of paper about the size of a cheque, too small to make a ball so he was just waving it in front of Ray. Ray grabs at it and grabs at it, playing along, when he got ahold of the paper and promptly ate it. My hubby said to me to take it out his mouth before he eats it, I say no he will spit it out. Well, he didn't, the next thing it was gone and Ray was just sitting looking at us like he wanted more. Lol stupid dog!! We were in stitches.
