Blizzy would hunt me down get my attention and give me that infamous Boxer look, then walk toward the door for outside. If I didn't go quick enough, she'd walk back to me, give me THE look again and do a little pounce on her front paws while she gave a little "whine" and then walk back to the door. Knowing her the way I did, there were times she just wanted to see what was going on outside and not really have to go potty, so just for fun, I'd ignore her to see what she'd do..it was the look, the pounce, the whine and then she would add the slam 75+pounds into mommys leg and almost knock her off the chair manevour.. THAT always got my attention.

Chancey sits in front of me and makes chimp noises while Kiddo either paces in front of me or stands at the door. Since Kiddo's on prednisone,we go out every 2 hours whether I get signs or not.....its a great excerise program, although sleep is a luxury.

Super Boxer
Oscar the not so subtle boxer ,head butts me when he has to go out. Sometimes he does it so hard that he has knocked a glass out of my hand. Then I say What and then he does the monkey noises and paces. My BF hates that he head butts but with bell training he just used it for attention. I think it is cute he head butts me and then head butts his sister Lilly to tell her it is time to go out. He never forgets his fursister.

Nestle walks up to the back door and looks at it then looks at the nearest person. She then starts to whine a little bit and if that still doesn't work she'll let out one bark like she's saying "Come on already! I'm about to burst here!"
Hobart bell trained himself with a string of bells that were hung on the door as decoration during christmas. I was so proud! Obviously the bells are hanging there to this day :) On nice days those bells can really drive a person foolicon

shake his head

If Ziggy has to go potty he will stand up and shake his ears and head. At first we didn't know that was his signal but after a few accidentes we figured it out. So everynight at about 3:00AM I hear him shake his head to let me know it's time.

So funny how each of them has their own way of telling us «time to go!»!!

Ginger will come to us and start whining but more in a wo-wo tone. She will also go sit by the window-door and give a little tap on the window with her paw, her way of saying «open the door pleeeeeease!» Also, if she's laying on the couch and we ask her if she wants to go pee-pee, she will get up, strech and go to the door if she needs to.

They are brilliant, aren't they?!!
