What does your Boxer do to let you know he/she needs to potty?

Dozer bangs on the slidding glass door to let us know...we did not teach him this...he just does it. And does it for attention too when we aren't watching him play or just wants to run around in the yard. We thought Tank would follow suit be he is the more quiet one. He just paces back and forth between the two doors and looks at you with the "hello i have to go outside!!!" look on his face.

Duchess will come and stare at you and whine. Harley either sits by the door and moans or grumbles about it. Barrett must have a larger bladder bc he just goes out when the others do.

yea i use the bell training also. when aaliyah needs to go pee or poop she just rings the bell and chills at the door. if she really has to go she socks the bell with her paws or flys towards it to let me know its an emergency. . but yea, i think the bell thing is great method but there is just one problem, well at least for aaliyah, she rings the bell when she wants attention ( i.e when i am making her food or doing dishes or watching tv.). once u learn when she does it to pee/attention, it's the best technique to use for potty training. : )

Brutus and Trinity both use (or is it abuse) the bells. LOL If we're in another part of the house and can't hear the bells or if we ignore them because we think they just want to play, then they will come to use whining. If it's the middle of the night, they will stand over me whining until I get up to take them out. Knock on wood...it's been a couple of months since we had an accident from Trinity and almost a year for Brutus.

Brutus doesn't really do anything, he'll get antsy when i get up and go torwards the door but he won't let me know. I don't know if i'm taking him out frequently and not giving him a chance to let me know he's just like "i can go out there or i can go where i'm standing" I'm gonna have to try this bell method it sounds fun. If i ask Brutus he has to go pee pee he just looks at me like i'm saying blah blah blah.

Harlie hits the door, and if no one gets up she walks over to you and whines in your face and thats when i know shes gotta potty and doesnt just wanna play. Now my Chop Chop doesnt know better, one morning i found him sitting in front of the door queitly, I felt so bad for the little boy cuz i didnt know how long he had been sitting there. So if i dont see him around i go straight to the back door incase hes there waiting to go potty. I love my little guy so much!
