As a rule, it's best to avoid foods that contain things like wheat, soy, corn, beet pulp or any form of unidentifiable ingredients (eg. things called "poultry" or "animal" or "meat").

Ricky also seems to have this scratching issue which was why I started to research a food change a couple months ago. How long should it take to see a difference if it was an allergy to the food? The vet gave me an anitbiotic, antihystamine, and a leave in conditioner. She thought it was a bacteria-related rash. Hasn't really seemed to help the itching, although the red rash is gone.
Thanks!
