Canidae dry with a third of 13.5 oz of Merrick canned mixed in at dinner. He loves it and cannot wait to get his dinner at 5.

Check websites for the food for store locators also you can get them shipped. Look for independently owned stores.

Sienna eats either Diamond, Purina, or Eukanuba. She eats Alpo wet food. When I get the new puppy, he will eat Purina puppy chow
Sorry to say, but the foods you mentioned have a lot of stuff that is bad for dogs, especially boxers. There is a great link here on BW with excellent foods you can feed Sienna. I'm not sure what the link is though...

oh my. I am already looking into other dog foods. I'm gonna go to petsmart and look at all the ingredients. I looked at the feeding thing on here about what not to feed them, so I know what to look for

You won't find much in the way of good food at Petsmart except maybe Blue Buffalo. You will be much more successful checking out the independent pet stores in your area. Feed stores can also be a good choice.

Good luck!

All of mine are on Timberwolf Organics Dakota Bison. I am going to rotate to another meat source in the Timberwolf Organics when they are ready to switch, it will be the Timberwolf Organics Wilderness Elk.

There is a PetCo near our house and they sell Innova, Timberwolf, Nutro, and some other good foods. Our pup is on Nutro Max (wet w/ dry mixed in). I am thinking about switching her to Innova or one of the others, but I'm not sure. She seems to love Nutro Max, and she looks great, she just scratches a lot and seems to have imaginary fleas. What do you guys think?

Ok, as of an hour ago Hugo now will get Merrick dry with Wellness canned mixed in. He's been on Royal Canin Boxer for a year and although he loves it, his allergies are out of control. I'm hoping the food switch will at least ease them somewhat.

The BARF diet is probably the best but it's all I can do find the motivation to cook dinner for my husband, let alone the dog. :)

Quite possibly a food allergy. Nutro Max isn't the nastiest food out there, but it does contain a number of ingredients that are very common allergens. Quite likely that is the cause of the scratching. It's low on meat content too, so there's another good reason for an upgrade ;)

As a rule, it's best to avoid foods that contain things like wheat, soy, corn, beet pulp or any form of unidentifiable ingredients (eg. things called "poultry" or "animal" or "meat").

Canidae All Life Stages dry food. Check local independent pet stores for the better foods. The chain stores usually do not stock these foods.

Whether there is a connection to food, Emma (on Canidae) sheds less and has less stomach problems than my last boxer, Annie, who was on Diamond and Pro Plan.
