What are your Thanksgiving plans?

I am cooking Thanksgiving dinner for DH's side of the family. I baked pies today and plan on cooking the turkey tonight. I think I am going to have about 16 people.

Do you host dinner or go to family's house?

It's a small group this year. My sister, her boyfriend, and my Mom are coming over. Hey, that's OK, my brain is still spinning from the agility last weekend.
BTW, does anyone else's dog like to be vacuumed? Oscar started to follow me around while I was vacuuming, so I vacuumed him. Now I can't get the rest of the vacuuming done. He keeps getting in the way, looking for more.

We moved to North Carolina from Minnesota 6 years ago,two other families from the same company in Minnesota also made the move so we always get together for the holidays,Thanksgiving we will go to their home & DH & I will host Christmas,we always have wonderful holidays together & sometimes some of our familes travel here to be with us

I cook the Turkey dinner at my house every other year and this is my year at my house. I love to cook so I love this time if year. I have a small family so it will just be my mother, grand mother, brother, aunt and uncle, me and BF. I cook everything except the dressing, that is still up too dear ol grandma- she make the best! I plan to eat alot and enjoy the comapny! I hope all of my BW friends enjoy the day too.

This year my parents recently moved the next town over, about an hour away, so my DH and I are going to my Granny's house tomorrow and having dinner there with her and my aunt, uncle and great uncle. We stay the nite, then Friday we are traveling from there to my parents new house b/c my father had gall bladder surgery so isnt allowed to go anywhere, so we are going to have a small dinner with just them....THEN we come back Saturday and spend some time by ourselves and decorate for christmas!!!!!

I would like to say Happy Thanksgiving, and anyone traveling, please be safe. BF, Tyson and I are going to my mom's. My 2 DD's and their BF will show up. But they have other places to be also, so it won't be for too long. Which I totally understand. My DB and DS live out of state,so we don't get to spend holidays together. I will call them though. Today is actually my DS's birthday. But our holidays are very low key. May stop at some of BF's relatives houses, not sure. He only has a DS living, but she has 8 kids who are married with kids, so it is always very "busy" at her house.
