Tugga's Mom

Boxer Booster
Tugga (7 1/2 months old):

Kennel cough (before vaccination)
twisted his foot while playing and got better on own after a week
Upset stomach until I switched him to nutro all natural

Jayda (8 1/2 weeks old):

Runny stool (in the process of switching her to Nutro and her stool has improved greatly)

We've been lucky so far.(knock on wood)

El Duke

Boxer Buddy
About a week after we got Duke he was bit or stung by something and he got hives.

And a few months before his 1st B day he chased a cat and Duke crashed into a moving vehicle( i didn't see it i just heard a loud noise and the driver said that my dog crashed into his car) Luckily he didn't have any broken bones. He just had a big bruise and he limped for about two weeks his vet put him on some medication.

Ronin1

Boxer Insane
Guess I've been relatively "lucky" so far: Ronin - 11 mos

Staph infections (3)
Ear infection (1)
Intermittent redness between toes on back feet

Obviously allergies. Tired of just treating the symptoms with meds - so taking him to the doggie allergist soon!

Paisley is 19 weeks now.
So far she has:
-Broken out in hives on her head and her ears were swollen(food allergy) at 8 weeks old, her food was changed immediately along with some benedryl, no vet visit required.
-Had bruised gums at 9.5 weeks and the left side of her face was swollen, vet said it would go away on its own; it did.
-Torn a ligament in her right, front leg at 18 weeks and has a splint on her leg!

Doesn't seem like much, but each time I worried soo much!:(

Shotze's Mom

Super Boxer
Shotze had tape worms so bad when I got her they were falling out her hinnie. I have had to have her wormed twice...once for tape worms and once for round worms.(breeder said she was wormed but she sure did pass alot of them after the vet trip)
Other than that, its been a smooth two months so far. (knocks wood also)

Sam- now a healthy 7 mo old

UTI
Coccidia
Broken leg
Kennel Cough

All of these ailments occured one right after the other, starting at 8 weeks. Fortunately, he has been very healthy ever since!:)

Boxer Buddy
Champ's been pretty healthy. It's very sad reading some of the posts. Champ has had two ear infections, an allergic reaction between his toes on one paw and a raw spot under his nub from diarrhea along with the ear infections. This was in his first year. Since then, nothing! Thank goodness!

EMWAZ

Super Boxer
Pancho, Buster and Zoe

Pancho, fawn 6 years, tumor on foot, yeast infection in ears and allergic reactions, treated with benadryl and prednisone once. Cruciate ligamant that healed but developed arthritis, treated with adequan(sp). Healthier as he got older, allergies went away..

Buster, Deaf White, 4-5 years, 4 ulcerated corneas, 1 eye tumor removed non-cancerous, one bump on back removed. Last surgery was removal of about 5 small tumors. Everytime he has surgery from now on we have to use an anethesia specialist, because he seems to have irregular heartbeats related to the anesthia.... Good for now, we hope it lasts....

Zoe, brindle, boxer mix.. 6 years ONE allergic reaction treated with benadryl, didn't even have to go to the vet. We think she ate a bee, she likes to bite at them...

I think I live at the vet...

Roxie 6mo
Coccidia - 2 treatments due to reinfecting herself (from eating poo)
Tapeworm
Paws curved in when we got her but corrected themselves
ongoing diarreah
separation anxiety
sprained back leg last week
treating for hook worms right now that she may have got from new puppy
not to mention all of the regular visits for boosters, etc.
antibiotics for cough and nasal discharge

Baxter 8 weeks
treating for hookworms

I'm seriously considering health insurance for my babies...they cost me WAY more than the skinkid!
