We are so excited!!!

We are closing on our very first home on friday and I am so excited I can hardly type!(my backspace key is actually warm from over use!!!) Brooke is gonna love it there we have HUGE backyard! 100 feet by 50 feet! it is already three sides fenced and we just have to bring it to the sides of the house and she can burn her little butt off!!! Oh boy there is so much to do!

we bought our first house in may 04. feels like much less that that tho...in fact i spent all day stripping woodwork...im loving life as a diy dooer...no sign of it being finished tho...do you have alot of work to do indoors??

Actually this house is a dream. the only thing that is NEEDED is paint inside. (previous owners smoked inside I think) and the carpet could probably be replaced but with four children 7 and under and a potty training pooch, we will wait a while for that. Other than that it is in mint condition. I will eventually be putting some type of wood/laminate flooring in the dining room though. I can't stand carpet there!

congrats on the new home! We can't wait to get into our own.. but w/ these ridiculous Northern California prices.. who knows when that will be :rolleyes: : hopefully w/in 3 yrs.. but still..can't wait) Lucky pooch and kids.. an entire new house to play in!

we wouldn't be able to afford it if we weren't both in the military. . Have you looked at 4 bedroom houses in atlantic city lately? 1/4 mil and up!!!
