Urine Odor and night accidents

Anyone ever experience foul urine odors? My ten and a half year old Nikki had an accident Saturday night and then again last night. My concern is that this morning the urine smelled so bad, I actually thought that someone pooped in the room. Her urine did not smell with her Saturday accident. I have a vet appointment tonight, but thought I would inquire if anyone could give me some insight.

my puppy also had really smelly pee... i don't know if it was his food, but as soon as we switched him off nutro, it got better

I would suggest getting your dog to the vet. With an older dog you might want to do a urinalysis or a full body panel to see if the kidneys, liver, etc is working properly. There also may be something as simple as a UTI. Good luck!
