Uh-oh, I guess I'm a "housewife" now

I have been a stay at home mom for 10 years now, and yes there is days when you get bored or feel unimportant BUT usually right at the time some small things happen and you realize how much you are needed and you only get bored if you allow yourself.My girls are 10 and 7 and you knwo, I honestly believe they need me home just as much today as they did when they were just babies.

I had my mom home all day everyday when I was young. As we got older she went to work part time. As I look back now, I am very glad she was always there. Your children will remember you being around when they are older. Don't waste a minute feeling "unimportant."
