I'm so excited to hear about all the other Boxers out there with natural tails! We'll be bringing our Mason home in a couple more weeks, and I was initially worried about his long tail being a nuisance, but I think it will be great entertainment! I'll let you all know how he likes his tail once we have him home for a while. At what age do they start to chase their tails?

My boys never smack themselves with their tails. They hurt when they whack you on the leg with it though.. Last night Chester was spinning around catching his tail - I was saying "stop that Chester! you are gonna pop your sitches" (he was desexed on friday) it was hilarious though. It's always so cute watching them chase their tail and chew on it when they get it. lol.

So happy for her natural tail

Catching her natural tail is too easy for Wallace so she catches her upper thigh instead, it is quite funny to watch. Also the happier she is the more her tail curls so she doesn't hit herself since it is up on her back. When it is really wagging it straightens out, but it doesn't hurt half as much when it hits you as the lab's I grew up with... I can't imagine her without her tail, it is where so much of her personality comes out.
