The tree lasted 3 days!

Well for whatever reason, Cleo has decided one branch of my xmas tree is her personal jungle gym. it's a fake tree so that branch hangs lower than the rest of them. she also discovered the lights and pulled them all the way down. somehow or another in the process, a bulb went out so there's several of them out. i've moved everything out of her reach so there's no danger for her but it's hilarious to see her run underneath it to scratch her back. we've decided we cant put any presents underneath it this year.

i'm sure zeus just looks at her whenever she attacks the tree and thinks "youuuuu're gonna geeeeet iiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!!" because everytime i walk back into the living room (after hearing the movement of the branches) he's laying down facing the tree and cleo will be running away from it.

We still have our kitchen chairs around the tree and it is working for now....we just cant eat dinner at the table!!! I may try to take away the chairs and see what happens.

Ours was attacked yesterday- less then 24 hours from when it was decorated.
I was very glad I had cotton balls on hand...

Today i have two chairs blocking the tree- I will get a baby gate (my kids are scared to death of the baby gate) tonight and rest that on the tree till Christmas. what a nice ornament...

Cuddles took ours down this morning, made it 3 days as well!
