As boxers get older, do you notice the sighs become more refined? As a small puppy, Gruntboy sighed even then. But as he's gotten older (18 mos now), he has different sighs for different occasions, many of which are listed in this thread. The one in particular that I haven't heard yet is the disgusted sigh accompanied by wht we call the "vulture look", when he wants something and we're not paying attention. This look is accomplished by (and he is in a standing position kind of splayed out a little) extending his head and lowering it, and looking at me with much disdain. If I continue not to pay attention, he gives one big huffy snort, followed by another disgusted sigh, and slinks away. Cracks me up! Of course, 10 minutes later, I give in when he comes and licks the back of my knees.
