Perfect timing for this thread... (sorry,a little long)
Ok, here goes….Last night we went out shopping. We left poochy in the kitchen. (We have a gate that restricts her to the kitchen area only). She's been pretty good lately, we can usually leave her for about 4-5 hours with little worry, well except that she will eat any and all paper that she finds. Anyways, so we're gone for about 3 hours. We come home, the gates open, Shelby is no where to be seen. I'm almost positive that I made sure the gate was shut when we left. We look around, no poop, no pee….GREAT! Tommy goes upstairs and yells, "HONEY, COME UP HERE NOW! WAIT TILL YOU SEE THE (BLEEP-"ING") MESS THAT SHE MADE. OH MY GOD THIS IS SO GROSS!!!" My worst fear is she pooped and peed in our bedroom, I'll be sleeping downstairs if that’s the case. I go upstairs and there is a "trail" of femine products, couple of different kinds….use your imagination, going from the bathroom into our bedroom by the tv, full of cotton and green plastic. She had eaten a "used" pad and chewed my "used" tampon applicators!!! GROSS! Luckily there were no stains on my carpet. She had gotten every last drop. Now, that was bad enough right? Actually, after I picked it up I laughed, cause what else was I gonna do? She also has a thing for my dirty underwear by the way. Ok, so now we've vacuumed and everything is OK. I take out my contacts and get ready for bed. I go to get my glasses to watch some tv and guess what? They're no where to be found. MSO says, "gees honey, I hope the dog didn't get those too!!!" Now my stomach is turning. We flip the bedroom upside down and find them…..chewed, scratched, bent, you name it. My worst fear is confirmed. I was so upset with our dog I couldn't even look at her, never mind yell. The whole maxipad-tampon thing I could handle, this I could not. So this morning I had to go to the eye doctor and $145 and a week from now they will be fixed. GRRRRRRR!!! I swear its worse than having kids
That wasn't such a short story huh? Hope it made you laugh, cause it made me cry.
