Oh my gosh!! I'm so glad you and your family are okay! I can't imagine being in that situation. Our house was burglarized when I was much younger, but they came in and did it while we were gone.
Make sure you take all the time you all need to recover and sort through this. It's a big deal, whether the papers want to report it or not. Just because it happens all the time, doesn't make it less traumatic for you.
