Tattooed and/or Pierced?

Just curious to see how many boxerworld members we have that have tattoos and/or piercings and what they are....

I have two tattoos...one is a bleeding rose I got on my chest when I was 19, the other is Piglet from Winnie the Pooh on my right ankle I got about 5 years ago.

I also have my right eyebrow pierced. So far, I've been successful hiding all the aforementioned from my ultra-conservative workplace!

Great question! I have one tattoo on my right shoulder blade. It is the Eye of Ra (egyptian god). I wanted it since I was about 17 and when I turned 21 I went and got it done. I've been itching to get another one, but not sure what and where. I've thought about expanding on the Eye, but still unsure as to what exactly I want.

As of yet, I am not pierced anywhere, but, who knows. That could change!

Tattoos are addicting I think! I wanted one FOREVER when I was around 16-17 and my mom said "Not as long as you live in my house!" Well, when I was 19 I moved out and got my first tattoo right after. Then I wanted another one but it took me a while to decide what I wanted. I just love Piglet, so I went with him.

I want to get the Whos from Whoville (from How The Grinch Stole Christmas....remember when they're holding hands and singing around the Christmas tree?) I wanted to get that around my ankle but have yet to do it.

I also wanted my eyebrow pierced for a while...I think it looks so cool. I finally went and had it done a few months ago while we were on vacation in Florida. It didn't even hurt! NOT AT ALL!!! Just a little pinch and it was over. I LOVE IT!

I had my navel pierced when I was 21 and a senior in college and it seemed like a fun and crazy thing to do, but I took it out about 3 years later when it seemed like half the belly buttons in town were starting to sport rings (I'm 29 now). I miss it sometimes, but now that I'm 6 months pregnant I imagine it would look pretty scary! (The scar alone is stretching out something awful lately). So now the only piercings I have these days are on my ears, and that's fine with me.

When I was 23 I got a tatoo on my ankle. It's the Picasso sketch of hands holding a bouquet of flowers. I just always liked that drawing. But I do sometimes wish I had gotten it in a less visible place than on my ankle. It's very pretty but very colorful and not exactly tiny so it's hard to not notice.

My husband has 4 tattoos. A fightin'irishman on his ankle from college days. crossed irish and american flags above a big shamrock on one arm, a celtic design green and orange shamrock on his chest, and the most recent is a large black celtic cross on his other arm. Can you tell he's proud of his heritage?

I have a tatoo of Winnie the Pooh on my lower back so I am able to hide it unless I wear a cropped shirt, bathing suit, and some evening dresses have shown it (I hate that it's so tacky!!). I also have a belly button ring which I have had since June 1994. My earlobes are pierced too if that counts

As someone who served in the Marine Corps you would think that I've got a tattoo or two, but my body remains unstained and there are no holes in it that I wasn't born with :D . That's not a judgement on those of you that choose to have it done. I have found a tasteful, strategically placed tattoo on a woman can be very sexy . It helps a whole lot if she's attractive to begin with though.

I have 4. A big elephant head on my shin below my right knee and a couple of large tribal Fish and a large spikey tribal band around my leg.

My husband wants a tribal dragon, but has yet to find the "one" he wants. I told him to draw one up himself, but he's not that crafty. LOL

I have two holes in each lobe, self pierced at age twelve with a needle and an ice cube. One of the upper ones is in a bad place so I don't ever put anything in there.

I had wanted a tattoo since about 16 and continued to consider it until 28 after having an appendectomy. I figured I have tons of permanent scars from injuries and surgeries, why not choose one deliberately so it can be where I wanted it and look like what I wanted it to look like. So, at 28, a fully grown, sober individual, I went in had a blue crab tattooed on the inside of my right ankle. I chose a crab because I was born under the sign of Cancer. I have never looked back, and I have never regretted it.

My most recent piercing was an upper pinna (cartilage) piercing in my right ear. That was in February 2001 and I can now take it out at night and not stab myself in the side of the head everytime I roll over in bed! (Nobody mentioned that sleeping would be problem for twelve weeks!)

I would never do my naval. I have no desire to draw attention to the one part of my body that I really hate. Although I did have some minor plastic surgery done to it last September and now that those scars are fading, it actually doesn't look too bad now. I still don't think I want it pierced. All those other places? The nose, eyebrow, lip, tongue, etc. I think I'm a little too old for that now.

Well I guess I'm pretty boring. I have only my earlobes pierced. Although as I was an 80's girl (clubbing to the sounds of Wham! Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet) I did have another hole pierced in my right earlobe and 3 more in my left ear lobe. These used to be decorated with graduating sized hoops!

I have no desire to have anything else pierced. I can see the attraction of the eyebrow, but frankly lips and tongues, nipples and navels make me heave at the thought of having it done! Sorry - each to their own.

As for tattoos, I do like them and would like to have a small one on my shoulder blade, but my husband is VERY anti so I don't think I'll ever be getting that one done!

I think the real question to ask is who has 'secret' peircings. I wouldn't mind having one of them but I don't think I'm brave enough!
