Michelle, I am so sorry you lost your baby. I know how hard it is to lose your best friend. When I lost my Abby it was like part of my heart had been ripped from my chest. My Abby has been gone a long time but when I think about her it seems like it was just yesterday that I held her as she left me for her wonderful journey to the Rainbow Bridge. I know our babies are running pain free,waiting to be reunited with us at the Rainbow Bridge....Godspeed sweet Tango...Many Hugs Linda

Thank you all so very much for the comfort. Today has been really hard for me as saterdays were our day. We slept late, ate togather and usually he got to go to the barn with me or for a ride somewhere. I felt lost all day without him under my feet. The house is so quiet. I let my mom take one of his beds, a leash and his new collar I had just got him for christmas, her dog can use them. I have not put anything away yet bu I will know when its time for that. I'm going to make some christmas candy to keep my mind off things i suppose.

Thank you all again so much..I'm glad that some of you remembered him. He did have an unusual face!

Michele - I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Tango was a very gorgeous boy. I know that you loved him very much and that you miss him terribly. As others have already said, try to take comfort in knowing that he's pain free now and then he went peacefully in your loving arms. That's probably the best way.

I also believe that we have these animals for a reason. My boys Riley and Mason have gotten me through a pretty rough year as well (I lost a dog, a cat, and a ferret within a 4 month span this year) so I know how difficult it is to say goodbye. :(
