I talked to the vet again. Her biopsy came back on her spleen, and NO cancer. So that is great news!!!! :D
He is putting her on the probiotics. He said he will give her the rest of this week to see how she does on that, and if not better by Monday he will refer us to a specialist. Good thing, because I was going down that road anyway if she wasn't better getting any better by Monday.
She was only on pain meds for the first few days after surgery. She has been off them since the weekend. I will try the potatoes and chicken meat. She is never going to eat regular dog food again after all of this.

She was on a vet rx canned dog food diet, low residue, also easy to digest. She stopped eating so then they tried this other stuff, I don't know what it was, but it was vet rx too but man did it smell horrible. They said, if dogs don't eat this stuff, we know they are really sick. She ate it. But it's very high in protein and can give her the runs also so it was just to mix in with her food to get her eating again.
So out of curiosity, how much pototoes and chicken do I give her. She is down to about 55-59 pounds?
I so can't tell you all enough how much I appreciate all your feed back and all the well wishes!!!!!
HUGS,
~~Jeanette~~
