Sending loads of healing and positive vibes to Brandi, poor baby girl. How frustrating and scarey, what you both have been through. I keep you and Brandi in my prayers, and hope that she has a good recovery from the surgery. Hugs to you, I know how worried you are. Please keep us posted.

:eek: How truly scary. Sending lots of healing vibes that everything turns out well. I hope she heals well from surgery, and that the rearranging the Dr did was enough to alleviate her problems so Mom can start fattening her up. I will keep you in my prayers, and Cody and Aniah send sweet kisses and gentle wiggles to Miss Brandi.

Hello everyone!!! It was a very long night. After I got her home she went directly to her bed in our room and she layed down for about 45 minutes. Then she decided she wanted to walk around, but she was still so groggy and doped up she would have close her eyes and almost fall over. I couldn't get her to lay down for anything. Of course I wouldn't want to either after having my tummy cut open and everything messed with. She finally decided to go back to the bedroom but still wouldn't lay down. She leaned up against the bed or me. I gave her some more pain pills because she really started wimpering about 8:00. I wasn't suppose to give them to her till 9:30-10:00 but she was hurting so much. I layed with her on the floor for quiet awhile trying to convince her to lay down. She finally must of gotten tired from standing for hours and she finally arranged herself to where she must of gotten comfortable laying on my legs and she finally went to sleep for a little while. Got back up at 2:30 went potty, and she finally got some really good sleep from about 3:00 till about 6:30.
She is back at the vet again today because she refuses to eat or even drink. They said she at least needed to get some water down her because she gets so dehydrated so quickly. They have her back on an IV of liquids and hopefully they can get her to eat something today. Keep your fingers crossed!!!!!

Just caught the thread. I hope she feels better soon! If it would be anything like my mom had done to her bladder, all they do is tie it up to the (at least the bladder) tailbone and spine. Just some extra "oomp" to help keep it up. In your babies case, keep it from twisting around.
I know people are different than dogs, but I hope that takes care of her problem.
