Such thing as too much love ????

Well most of my friends have now figured out that when I talk about 'my boy' that I'm talking about Beasley! I've already resigned myself to the fact that I'm probably not going to have skinkids, so Beasley really is like a son to me. For the most part, he's a really well-behaved boy, but admittedly he is spoiled rotten and probably lives more comfortably than most people do.

My mother jokes all the time about her 'grandson' and after Beasley's most recent ear surgery, she informed me that she and my father were setting up a 'Beasley Emergency Fund' in case I needed help paying for his medical expenses. In her own words, "I can't have my grandson going without, now, can I??" Gotta love Grandma!!!

I don't think you can ever love a treasured family member too much. For the amount of unconditional love they give, they're worth every smooch, cuddle, and car ride. lovicon

I am obsessed also. Family and friends thinks that I am crazy. I refuer to my dogs as my babies. They know what I mean. I have been in boxer love for 28 years and I do not see me stopping anytime soon.

My adult children think I am crazy and are jealous of the dogs - they are always saying that I treat my furbabies better than I treat them   ~ Cathy

I don't have my boxer yet, but you guys are making me REALLY want to hurry the process up! When I got pregnant, though, I had TONS of people ask me "What are you going to do with your Pug once you have the baby?" I was like WHAT? LOTS of people said, "I know you love him now, but just wait til you have your baby. Everything changes." Well, that was 6 years ago, and I now have 2 skin kids and I love my Pug as much as ever! Comparing pet love to child love is like asking yourself if you love your husband or your kids more. You can't compare the 2. You love them both!
Sorry to get off on that tangent, but I am getting really excited about loving a boxer like you guys love yours. =)

no such thing as too much love..of course my bf might not agree.he calls sinbad middleman because he likes to be in between us and i let him which i didnt let the skinkids do.my bf wants to go to florida for a week and i told him i dont think i can leave sinbad and sierra for that long..and of course they are both spoiled rotten..my bf has said before that he has to compete with the dogs for my attention..oh well must be the unconditional love from my babies...

There is not a day that goes by that I don't look at my babies and say to my husband "I love them so much". As soon as I get home from work Tessa follows me around until I sit down on the couch and then she immediately jumps up and goes to sleep on my lap. It's as if she's been waiting all day just to do that. lovicon
I spoil them rotten with good food, toys and attention. I think about them constantly!!! I have heard more then once from my skin kids (14 & 12 years old) you love them more then me. Of course I love them all, fur and skin.
But as someone's signature on BW says "Happiness is a warm puppy".

Loving Boxer Lady

Oh boy!! What can I say that others have not already said? I'm crazy about my dogs and I love it!! I'm proud of the fact. People who ask me about my home (whether I live in a house or apt etc.) always get the same answer. "I live in the dog house." I have three wonderful fawn boxers and there is not a day that goes by that I don't look on the local rescue websites wishing I could get more. I would love to adopt a white and brindle boxer. That would make five. What stops me is money and fairness. Can I give enough attention to all? There is nothing better to me than lounging on the sofa with my babies watching a good movie. When I get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom one my little girls always crawls up on my pillow. Instead of making them all move to make room for mom I will just go downstairs and sleep on the sofa. I've been divorced for 10 years and I will probably stay that way because I can't imagine finding a guy that would fit into my life. He would have to be as crazy as I am about dogs.

So when someone tells you they think you're crazy just say "Thank you for the compliment."
