Well most of my friends have now figured out that when I talk about 'my boy' that I'm talking about Beasley! I've already resigned myself to the fact that I'm probably not going to have skinkids, so Beasley really is like a son to me. For the most part, he's a really well-behaved boy, but admittedly he is spoiled rotten and probably lives more comfortably than most people do.
My mother jokes all the time about her 'grandson' and after Beasley's most recent ear surgery, she informed me that she and my father were setting up a 'Beasley Emergency Fund' in case I needed help paying for his medical expenses. In her own words, "I can't have my grandson going without, now, can I??" Gotta love Grandma!!!
I don't think you can ever love a treasured family member too much. For the amount of unconditional love they give, they're worth every smooch, cuddle, and car ride. lovicon
