Wow, I can't believe I only know caught this thread!! My heart sank and I couldnt read fast enough!!! I am so relieved and happy Sophie is doing better. She will be in my constant prayers. Give her a big hug and kiss from us)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

She's doing ok - bit of a set back with her, she got moist dermatitis on her face which made it swell up, itch and ooze - poor girl. She was the most miserable & bad tempered I have ever seen her - she looked like she'd been in the boxing ring. Once the antibiotics got going she improved in a couple of days - it's still itchy where it's healing over but she is so so much happier. Being back at the vet a couple of extra times has meant they have been checking her heart too and are very pleased - heart is now beating in line with her pulse, slight murmer but they said they'll allow her that at 11.5, so all in all she is doing pretty well considering

She was having a good old play fight with Dino & her Dad last night over her soft ball (been ages since she's played), tired herself out and woke up with a swollen eye! Dino must have batted her one in the face - thankfully it has gone down this morning - phew!

I am so glad to hear Sophie's heart is doing well. Poor thing, I feel bad for her with her face troubles, but at least she is on the mend and doing well otherwise. Keep it up Sophie girl, 11.5 years young, amazing!
