Sophie's Heart is Failing

Just a wee update on Sophie. She's had some further investigation done on her heart and whilst it is much improved still not as it should be. They now think there is the possibility that she may have a growth on her heart or spleen which is causing her heart to beat irregularly - but this would require an anaesthetic and an x-ray to check out - not a good idea in an 11.5 year old dog with a heart problem. So we will just continue on as we are - Sophie seems happy in her herself, will continue popping the pills and we'll just have to be content with enjoying her being with us for however long it lasts.

Can't believe I've only just noticed this thread. In a few short minutes i've gone from being sad & concerned to happy and to a little sad again.
