Ski season is here!!

I just got an e-mail that stated one of our ski resorts is opening this friday!! WAHOOO!!!! I'm such a snowboard bumm DH gave me permission to go on Halloween!! Coolio! The earliest I've ever gone boarding is November 11th - last year. Maybe I will have to wear a costume.

Now, Im not ready for winter- its cold & dark and I hate being cold! :( but, I could stand to board year round! LOL

We have a ski house in Durango, Co across the street from the ski resort. I hate the cold, snow and ski lifts!!! However my husband loves to ski and the girls want to learn how to snow board. The resort opens up on Thanksgiving day and our daughters and my husband are all ready to go. As for me, I will stay inside and play with my dogs and drink hot chocolate. The ski resorts opened up here in Reno/Lake Tahoe last week!! They got about 3 feet last week and just got another two feet dumped on them last night apparently. I have only been skiing once, and that was at a dinky east coast ski resort with fake snow! haha But, my fiance is determined to take me and teach me how to snowboard so I have a feeling I'll be making a trip to the slopes soon myself! I also hate the cold though!
