A quick update
Ok I have been trying to call them all morning...ever since I woke up at 6...but they wouldnt answer their phones, I left messages too...they technically dont open until 10am...and right at 10:02 they answered...and she is already in surgery! I just really hope that they are very very careful with her...and that she makes it. For some reason they seem to not be worried...but for me its really hard not to. I asked my boss if I could leave a little early today and he didnt care...so at least we will be able to pick her up and not be rushing...I think I am going to hold off on her meeting our two when we get home today...Im gonna close off the kitchen and our bedroom so she can have some space and time to herself...Im sure she is going to be a little overwhelmed by everything, and Har and Max will both be very excited to meet her...and I cant wait for them to meet...but I think it would just be best for her to let her be for the nite...maybe even a few. Man...Im just so worried about her.
I really like the name Destiny and Promise...and Love is very unique and I like it...I absolutely love the name Grace, but Josh doesnt like it...he thinks her name should be Jasmine...which is sorta funny because it isnt anything about strength or her pulling through...he just likes the name and wants to nickname her Jazzy...he is so silly. So I am thinking that that will most likely be her name...since he isnt going for Grace...I'ma make it her middle name though! Shh...dont tell him. Haha...
I really hope today goes by fast. Josh is getting up early and going to Sweet Feed and getting a big bag of Canidae so we are all stocked up...plus some yummy bones for her too...and he said he is going to look for a pink leash for her to match her pink collar. Its so funny...he always wants boyish colors...as he isnt into the pinks and purples...yet he picks this baby pink collar for her...its so cute. Harlies collar is navy blue...and her leash is navy with white stars on it...and Max's stuff is all black. I just think its cute that she gets to get a girly color. I think its cool that the 2005 dog license is a pretty purple too...haha.
(I dont know if they are the same or not in every state...)
Ok well I guess I better get going...just thought I would update you...Im going to call back in a few hours and see how her spay went. I dont want to bombard them with calls like I did yesterday between 12 and 2...
they told me her temperment test would be done by noon...but didnt get done until 2...and I was calling every 20 minutes to see what was going on! Haha...oh well...I didnt want anyone else to get her once they put her up for adoption. And it worked...
...so I guess I dont feel that bad about it.
OK...Im really going now. I'll update you all as soon as I know anything.
