JMB9101--you and Josh are the best! I read your post this morning at work and totally teared up. I am so happy for this little Boxer girl. She has no idea how fortunate she is. I can't wait for further details. Glad her spay went well, too. It's somewhat surprising they'd do a spay on such a malnourished dog...but at least all went well. Give Miss Jasmine a big smooshy kiss for Tae and a hug for me!

Update
Well we are home! We finally got home! She is doing ok...just ya know, not feeling very well...she drank some water, then vomited it back up like 5 minutes afterwards...but other than that she has been fine. I got some pics too...I will post them in the morning. By the way...she doesnt weigh 17lbs anymore...she weighs 26 today...she weighed 17 when they brought her in...I had just had the old paperwork. Now I have updated sheets and knowing that she is 26lbs makes me a little happier. The pics are still gruesome...but they will get better in time.
Right when we got home she immediately jumped up on our bed and laid down...of course she shouldnt have jumped up there...but I didnt really think she would try it so I wasnt watching her very well...she has been sniffing Gabby...Jadey is in hiding...Gabby hissed once when she got too close, but everytime I go in the bedroom and peek in on her, Gab is up in her face trying to get a sniff. LOL...silly cat. Gab doesnt really mind dogs...I just think she wasnt sure what to think when we brought yet another one home. So far Grace...OH YEAH I forgot to tell ya!!! Josh said it was ok for me to name her Grace!!!

...so far Grace is eyeing the cats...but hasnt tried to do anything to them at all...just sniffs them and watches them. She is interested in them...I wonder how she will act towards them once she is feeling better...I just walked into my room to check her out...and she is still on my bed...just chilling out and Gabby is up there just sitting and staring at her....
Anyhow...Grace met Harlie and Max for a few seconds too...one at a time...Max and Har were on leashes. Har and Max were very very excited to see her...wagging nubs and all...Grace didnt mind them in the room...and watched them...but if they got too close to her she would let out a low quiet growl...just basically telling them to back off because she isnt feeling good. She is such a sweet girl so far...she is warming up a tad...if you sit next to her she tries to get a little closer...its like she just cant get comfy...she changes positions every few minutes. I just hope she feels better soon.
Also...I just wanted to add...the HS didnt think she was potty trained because they said she had been kept outside, but tonite she hasnt had any accidents yet...and she has gone potty outside twice for us. Which is wonderful...except for that fact that there is a snow storm outside right now...and I know neither her or I like the weather!! Haha...but she is doing good...just relaxing and recooping.
Have a great nite...I just wanted to have a quick update for you all...but I better go keep an eye on her now. Nite everyone...pics in the morning.
