... I've started a log to keep track of his accidents, size of accidents, time of accidents, etc. and other odd behaviors that I've noticed so I can bring that when we go as well. Any other suggestions on what I can do to prepare for this appointment is welcome. I'm already nervous about it so I'm sure I'll probably overlook something.
Keeping a log is a great idea. You might want to include in the log any activity or event that is out of the ordinary, such as a visit to another home, you being gone longer than usual, (e.g. shopping) a lot of comapny at your home, etc. Then if one day he does have a different pattern with respect to his potty habits, but it is from a change in overall routine, you will have the record of that routine change. That way, the vet will not be studying a change in pattern that is explained by the change in routine, not an illness.

Good luck and best wishes to you and Riley.

Thanks everyone.

Riley's been having a bad week. He had a very small accident on Monday (more like a little bit of leakage), was fine all day Tuesday and Wed, but today he had a pretty large one. There's definitely something going on with him and it's driving me crazy! I'm at the point now where I don't care how much urine I clean up or how much laundry I have to do, I just want him to get better! I want to know what's going on with him. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this specialist will be able to figure it out so we can get him 'fixed'.

Mandy, I am sorry to hear Riley still has this problem. I will keep my fingers crossed that the specialist can figure out what is wrong and treat him for it.
