Congratulations Steve and Becky on your new addition. I checked out the pictures and Reno is just precious!!

I am glad Reno can be in a loving environment with a family he can trust will take proper care of him and his special needs.

His story makes me sick, but I am so relieved there was a happy ending for this precious boy.

You are the ultimate boxer lover.

Bless you and your family for giving that precious boy a good home. It makes me sad to think of what he must have gone through but gives me goose bumps to think of what a good place he is in now with a loving home and other furbabies to play with and snuggle on the couch with.

You are truly angels to take Reno into your home and give him the life he deserves so much! You have my respect and lots of ((((((gooooood vibes)))))) sent your way for a long happy life with Reno and anyone else that is lucky enough to be a part of your lives.

Thank you for sharing your story and it's happy ending!! Love the bitter beer face pic, looks like quite a character, can't wait to hear stories!!

You are WONDERFUL people, and Reno is a lucky boy to have a safe forever home with a great family.

He is absolutely gorgeous! It truly sickens me to think that someone would treat him so horribly. I hope they get what's coming to them one day soon.

God bless you for rescuing Reno! It will be a great New Year for him!

Update

I just happened to be checking Boxerworld rescues and came across our old posts for Reno. Unfortunetely, I have to update everyone with very sad news. Our boy Reno passed away last September. Steve and I were devastated. Reno was a very special boy and will forever hold a special place in our hearts and those who were fortunate enough to meet him. He went to bed with us one night, and did not wake up in the morning. After an autopsy, it was revealed that Reno had a massive heart tumor.
We are confident in the fact that Reno lived like a king for the 15 months he was with us and we will never forget him.
In his honor we decided that we will always adopt boxers that are less adoptable than the norm. Reno would be happy to know that he has a brother who is white, and deaf. Ice is his name and he has been a challenge, but also a great joy. We are now looking for another deaf baby to share our love with. If anyone knows of a deaf boxer puppy in need of a home, please let us know!!

Thanks!

How sad that Reno has passed away... but how lovely that his legacy will live on.

It's the quality of their lives which matters, not the quantity. I'm sure those 15 months with you more than made up for the trauma of his earlier life.

I am sad that he passed, but I am so glad that he was with love and security for the months that he was with you.

How Very Horrible

I just was reading the story about Rio, I can not believe that someone could ever do something like that to a animal,Im sorry but the same thing should be done to them, Dogs only want love from us. Rio deserves the best for the rest of his life.
