I've trained in martial arts for over twelve years and reading this story makes we wish I lived close enough to work out the rage on the person who did this.

The world needs more people like you that are willing to put themselves out for those less fortunate, it says so much about you guys. This poor dog needs to be in a home with the love that I know you will share with him. It makes me sick to think of the type of person that could do this to an animal. You guys will be rewarded someday for your horoic deeds. Keep us posted on how things are going with him.

Steve and I are still waiting to hear about our adoption of Reno. Our references and veterinarian have all been checked, and we have sent our Adoption Application, so at this point it is just a matter of decision! :D

Reno update

I am a new poster, but I wanted to let everyone know about Reno. It was on our local news the night before last, and everyone in San Antonio is outraged. But, lots of local people, including myself, have offered to adopt him. I spoke with Melissa, his foster mommy, and he is doing well. They are reviewing the adoption applications, and it looks like Steve and Becky have a good shot at him. Even if I don't get him, I just want him to have a good home!
