Pulling boxer Lips Down???

    Hello everyone,

    Okay soo today i heard something very interesting and I had to come running to boxer world to see if it was true.

    Is is true that you need to pull boxer lips down as a puppy to prevent drooling later on??...

    thanks..id love to hear any comments..

    ROFL!! Where do things like this come from?!
    No, it is not necessary to do anything at all to boxer puppy lips, and I cannot imagine how it would help anyway. Most boxers don't drool. For those that do, I really doubt that any amount of lip-stretching is going to change it.

    Drooling's more of an issue if the dog's bite is off, but "tugging the lips" is a new one on me! If it did anything, it sounds like it would do the OPPOSITE, i.e. make it easier for the saliva to run OUT!

    That said, I've been known to play with the flews!
