You are always on my mind. It is so hard saying goodbye to someone you love. It is not wrong to want them back, you always will, but it will be less painful in a while. Hope you and Brian have a wonderful time in Key West. You have to check out the Flying Monkey, great bar. I have to say that Key West was the most fun I have ever had, I even remember some of it  Anyhow, Ms Josi would love to see a smile on both of your faces so have a good time for her.

Dear Staci, it's good to know that you are hanging in, and that you and Brian will be making a trip - a change of scenery and routine is a good break for you. I've thought of you often, knowing how hard it is for you not having your Josi there with you. It's a huge and sad adjustment. I hope you know that we are always here for you.

Have a great time in Florida!! :)

Enjoy your trip. You've had a very rough year and deserve some down time. Be sure to catch a sunset or two. It's been a very long time since I was in Key West, but that's one of my strongest visual memories.

Hello Staci, I don't really post too much, but whenever I log onto Boxerworld I never miss reading your posts. I am sure you miss Josi but knowing that she's in a better place with no pain or suffering is comforting, isnt it?

She has been really lucky to have had parents like you'll, as you'll have been to have received unconditional love from her.

You know I sing "you are my sunshine" to my Gigi too :) I always think that I'll never be able to do without her, but at the same time I always wish for her a healthy life.

Time does heal, and soon memories will bring more smiles than tears. Its nice to be here in this forum which is full of members who are compassionate and understand our love, worry, and sometimes even paranoia and obsession about our babies, as they go through the same.

I'll sign off by saying that we're here for you. Enjoy your friend's wedding...and we will see you back here soon! :)

Love from Gigi and me...

dearest Staci
I am so really sorry for your loss. Josi was such a special dog. She touched many lives. I wish I had words to help with your grief. Jose was lucky to have you and Brian.

My prayers are with you all.

I haven't been on in some time...but whenever I log on the first thing I do is check for Josie. If I wasn't sitting in a computer lab with fellow Grad students I would be sobbing buckets. My heart aches for your loss and I'm sure Josie is running free and kidney beaning at every new arrival at the bridge.

She was special to many of us. God bless...

Duke's Mom

Staci & Brian,

I read your post a couple of weeks ago and I can just now bring myself to email you and let you know how sad I was about Ms Josi. Like you said, she did it on her own terms and I so grateful you were able to be there for her. Its very hard but please know it does get easier with time. Duke passed away in April and there are times that I am so very sad and lonely without him and there are times that we are able to joke around about the good times with him. No boxer will ever take her place.

I hope all is well and we hear from you soon.

Melissa
