Not the usual circumstances for this, but Welcome Home, Josi.
I know Mommy & Daddy will sleep better tonight knowing you're back with them. Make sure you keep letting them know you are doing well and patiently waiting for them.

Having Josi's ashes home must be a huge relief. Hopefully you and Brian will be able to get some closure. As someone else said, grief has no time line. You will each heal at your own pace and in your own way. I hope today brings you more peace and comfort.

I'm in tears as I read your posts but I'm happy for you that Ms. Josi is home with you guys. I too think she made her presence known. She is at peace now and I guess she is saying that you guys can be at peace too. What a wonderful girl she was even coming back to let you know she's fine. She is truly an angel and will always take care of you. Hugs to you both.

I am glad you have Josi home with you where she belongs. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you travel through this very difficult journey.

I remember walking in our house a week or so after losing Crystal angelicon, and having my husband say to me,"I brought Crystal home." I was so shocked for a split second I thought he brought her, not the ashes. When I took the container in my hands - it seemed so heavy. I read the poem that was sent with it and cried my eyes out (as I am doing right now). I still haven't been able to put them on display, but I have one of her photos in my family room in an "I love Mom" frame and I talk to her daily. My 17 year old daugher still sleeps with Crystal's collar.

So glad Josi is with you and hope that someday you will again be able to open your heart to another boxer baby that needs a good home.

I remember bringing Scarlett's ashes home; it was so very hard. But comforting at the same time. I, too, think of you, Brian, and Josi everyday. Continued prayers coming your way.

Your post makes me think of my Ailis Girl who went to the the bridge two years ago. Every night I would go up to bed and on my way say to Ai"Time for big bed" and she would rouse from the deepest sleep and follow me up and tuck herself behind my knees. I will miss that , and her, until the day I die. God Bless you, and the Warrior Princess, and glad she is back with you and Brian in the "big bed". Rest easy sweet girl
