I know Brian is probably the happiest daddy on earth today. I'm so glad he got to spend Father's Day with his baby girl. I'll check back later to see how the visit went.

Our visit went wonderfully today and we are so glad we decided to go for it. While we hope for an uneventful week, we don't know what tomorrow will bring and the joy in her eyes today makes it all worth while regardless of what may come. Josi stuffed her face, sat on the ground and got massaged by grandma, and her daddy keeps telling her that being able to spend today with her is the best father's day gift he could ever ask for We are now lounging around and she has already gone through another meal...and more importantly has blazing HOT LIPS!!! I have got to get some work done for work tomorrow unfortunately, but I will try to post a quick update a bit later. Happy Father's Day again from the Josi gang...

I'm so happy to hear that Josi's day was so enjoyable for her. I'm heading to bed, but wanted to check in beforehand. Sending good thoughts that you all will get a good nights rest, and that the coming week will bring even more improvement to the Warrior Princess.

wow, I read this entire thread last night (new member) and I had tears in my eyes. I think you are very brave to help your girl through this. I don't know if I could handle it, I would most likely have helped my baby along to the bridge by this point, I can't stand to see my babies suffer, especially as much as Josi has gone through these last months...you must be such a strong person. Cudos to you for being a strength for your baby, you must be very special for her to fight so long and hard to be with you.

I am home hanging out with the baby for lunch and we just had another successful solid orange BM. Her lips are blazing hot and I know her being on the Flagyl and her hot lips are probably a mere coincidence, but ever since she started taking it since Thursday night they have been ruby red like we haven't seen in months. I would think it is probably related to the blood transfusion, but I plan to leave a voicemail for the oncologist and ask if she has ever heard or seen such a thing. I also need to find out if she wants her to take the full 20 pills she prescribed or if we should stop now that her stomach appears to be returning to normal. Gosh as much as this roller coaster is trying on our emotions, I hope to keep on riding it!! Josi has always made me a proud parent and ofcourse we all think are babies are the best, but the way she has inspired to me to never give up hope even when hope is just about gone, is something I will take with me and cherish for the rest of my life. Warrior Princess says to send out some WOOHOO's to boxerworld
