Warrior Princess is fighting away
She woke us up this morning by getting up on her own and trotting herself into the kitchen and start crying and pouting for food!!!! I can't believe her will to live. I had a feeling that she would improve more today based on her behavior last night ie. she woke us up 3 times to go outside and pee and cried this many times or more for chicken which ofcourse she received. I know we are not close to being out of the woods yet based on her gums, but she keeps improving and once again I can not believe my eyes. Thank you so much for keeping me focused and not giving up on her which I feel like I was on the verge of...I know this bleed is different and should probably be signifying something I don't want to see, but with her regaining her quality of life back...we will fight another day and worry about that then. I am a little concerned about an apparent cold or chest infection she may have. She has been sneezing and a couple of times some green snot came out of her nose. It is just her luck to have to fight more than one illness. The only thing I can think of is her system shut down so much that it allowed her to get sick? I have no clue, but it warrants a phone call to the vet this morning. Brian is going to go into work this morning half day and then come home and then I will go in for the second half. We both are going to be really behind and although that is the least of our worries. I will post again in a little bit before I head into work. Keep them prayers and vibes coming because they are working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well it sounds like Ms Josi is rallying, which is great! I have to say, it didn't look so good last night, but now she is getting up and eating and looking alert, it seems good.
Our Blaise always loved her tucker and we always figured that when she stopped eating that it was a sign we had come to the end of the line, and thats how it went :( The last few days she would barely get up and no food tempted her, no cheese, no dog chocs or jam toast.
So I think if she has her appetite and her eyes are alert she might well pull out of this, for a while at least.

Completely Boxer Crazy
Well we have had another successful #2 with no blood, more pee's, more chicken eating, and she just had herself a sunny-side up egg. I have received numerous kisses so far today which I haven't had since Monday night. I know I can't get ahead of myself, but I am keeping postive with all her recent progress. My vet is unfortunately out of town at a vet convention, but he gave me his cell # in the past, so I have left him a message. Good thing we didn't need him to come over the house afterall yesterday b/c it would not have been possible. Funny thing the way things work out sometimes. Anyhow, I talked to the lady at the clinic and she told me if I do not hear back from him by this evening to give them a call back and she would have one of the other two vets call me. I told her that Josi was still too weak to bring in and although she has seen both the other two doctors in the past...we much prefer and make it a point to see the owner. I will keep you'll posted throughout the day

So glad a little of that Diva spirit is showing itself. I think she will rally from this bleed however I do think that your intuition was correct in thinking this one was different. But it sounds to me as if Josi is still willing to fight it out. Glad that she is eating and going potty, keep up the work Warrior Princess. Sending boat loads of healing and feel good (((((((((((((vibes)))))))))))))) for Ms Josi and calming ones for you.
