Emma and I will pray for you and him

Being Emma is purebred that is one the scariest health issues I fear about among many with Boxers. Emma is over three years old and she has had her share of health problems. My wife and will always be on the watch. Good luck and hope he gets better.

It seems that Miss Josi is receiving yet another miracle. I'm so glad to hear that she's eating and is resting peacefully. I know you want to spend every minute with her that you can, so update whenever you have a chance. Good vibes and {{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}} coming your way.

Every time I open this thread I hold my breath but each time I am amazed at her will to fight another day. You have such a special girl (which clearly you know)! I am praying for you all.

Thank you for the update. Ms Josi's will to live is a tribute to the love and dedication you and your DH have given that precious girl. In return, Josi has given us all a lesson in how to live life to it's fullest. Prayers and positive vibes to you Ms. Josi...............................

That a girl Josi... glad you had some appetite this morning... you keep resting peacefully and getting your strength back to fight as long as you can... I thought of you and was so worried about you thru the night... Last night I swear Rocky knew I was crying sitting here at the computer typing my last post to you, because some way he knew I was saddened and came and put his face on my leg and didn't move it til I was done.... I think he was sending his love thru my post as I typed...

praying and sending you vibes Warrior Princess JOSI... kisses from Rocky :)

Thanx Staci for the update, it means alot to hear about your baby girl... hugs and strength to you and Brian...!!!

Well since I last posted, Josi has gobbled down another 2 chicken thighs and drank a lot of water. We have taken her outside again with the harness and she pee'd and poo'd and their didn't appear to be blood in it this time (sorry for the detail). She came back in with ghost white lips and heavy panting, but after a few minutes she ate more food and now she is snoring away on her bed. I really don't know what to think? While her energy level seems to be about the same as yesterday, she is definitely more alert and she has an appetite. Should I be taking this as a sign that she is trying to fight and not give up on her? I know if there is a will Josi will find a way, I just don't want her to have to fight another battle that she can't atleast temporarily win. I still have not called the vet yet b/c I feel like I am at a loss for words to explain how we feel. I know he can't tell me when it is her time, only she can and after being told five months ago by the specialists that she would not make it through surgery and the humane thing to do would be to let her go...I'm not really into favoring any dr.'s estimates/predictions when it comes to my baby. I guess at this point we will hold tight and see how the day plays out hour by hour. Brian is going to go by the store and pick up a can of pumpkin for her since all she has been eating is straight protein, so the last thing I need is for her to get stopped up and strain more to go #2. I'lll post another update soon...

Staci, if ya ask me it sounds like there's no way Josi is throwing in the towel... she's still got an appetite and it's still coming out... sounds like to me she's just taking a lil longer to recover from this last one... now when the system starts to stop working is when I would really be worried, but she's being a good girl and still going #1 and #2... Thank goodness there's no signs of blood this time... That scared me when you recently posted that... So I say if you dont wanna call the vet yet, then DONT... she's your baby and no one knows her better then you do... you hang in there... she'll let ya know when it's time to take that next step no matter what direction it might be in...

lots of love to the entire family... Josi, xo's

Keep on fighting Josi if her blood cells replenish she could pull off another one when Harley bled out he was full off blood in his belly you could feel it and he declined within hours sounds to me like a week of this and she could pull it off it took 7 to 10 days from him to recover from crashing I also saved the chicken water for him because he liked it you will know in your heart when it is time she must be building herself back up if she can eat and pee and poop during this time Harley had set backs escpecially if he overdid himself
