Josi had a wonderful Saturday afternoon visit at both of grandma and grandpa's houses. First she got to re-explore the new yard and house and then we went over to her old stomping ground where she watched the koi in the pond and didn't stray barely a step from grandma's side. I really think these weekend visits lifts her spirits and gives her even more reason to fight. Although it wears her out and she does alot of panting probably b/c she is so excited....I think it is so important for everyday to be a memorable one for all of us. She rested most of Sunday while mommy and daddy cleaned and her gums seemed somewhat pale throughout today, but as I am typing she is sucking away on her peanut butter bone so she can't be that tired. Brian and I have decided that she is eating us out of house and home

We finally calculated and she is going through 7lbs. of meat every two days. She is definitely putting a dent in our piggy bank but we are just glad we have the means to support her. Every two days I am buying 2 packages of 1.8lbs. of boneless skinless chicken thighs, 1.5lb. of offal, 1lb. 93/7 ground beef, and 1lb 93/7 turkey. On top of that she is going through one head of green cabbage, two lrg. pkgs. of frozen spinach, and 1 lrg. pkg. of chopped brocolli every 4 days. She obviously loves eating now and I have to say that it has certainly seemed to help with all her ailments either way. She also hasn't seemed to lose any weight since she came home from the hospital even with the cancers. I am very sorry I didn't get a chance to post over the weekend, but we thank you all for your continued thoughts, prayers, and posts....you help keep us going and give us strength.
