Thank you all for your beautifully kind well wishes to both Brian and I...and most importantly Josi. I still haven't packed and we leave tomorrow morning, but I just wanted to post and let everyone know that Josi continues to be fighting the good fight and is her spirited sassy self. I am going to miss her like never before and I truthfully have been keeping tomorrow morning out of my mind, but I will just have to be as strong as she. We return Monday afternoon, so until then keep posting those boxerworld vibes for Josi

I'm about 45 minutes from Charlotte (Blacksburg, SC) and we had snow, too. It was very pretty, albeit unusual. There's still some on the ground but it is crunchy from the sleet and freezing rain that came afterwards.

I know all too well how you fell about leaving Josie on Friday. We had a vacation planned when Scarlett got sick the last time. I had a very hard time having any fun. This is a special day for you, so try to be happy. Josie would want you to be. And it sounds like you have someone very trustworthy to take care of her.

Josie will be in our thoughts and prayers.
