Lucky Diamond to have a nurse for a mommy!! I'm so glad she is improving. It will be bit by bit, but hopefully, she will have a full recovery.

I know how powerful Boxerworld vibes and support are. I've been on the receiving end of them, as many here have, and it is wonderful to have the support when you are worried and upset about your furbabies or anything else for that matter.

So, we're still here for you. Please keep updating us on her progress!!

When Buster was in the hospital for 11 days, he lost a lot of weight. He looked anorexic - bones sticking and jutting out everywhere. I scrambled 2 eggs for him twice a day - morning and night. I did that for about a week and he gained his weight back pretty quick (and then some).

Lexie, this brought tears to my eyes. I'm so glad to know that others have their boxers as their best friends...Diamond is truly blessed to have you in her life. Be strong for Diamond, she needs you to be that the most for her right now when she is so weak. She will get better and the 2 of you will be so much stronger. Diamond is doing well today, she i sup and moving around and a lot less stiff. Today is also her 2nd birthday, so Happy Birthday to my baby. She can't have anything special to eat until after Wednesday if the dr clears her kidneys. So we will save the birthday party until then. I think I will also try the egg trick to get her to gain her weight back. She had a very good night, only got up once and only had trouble with her breathing and temperature once so that's a lot better compared to the first night that she was home! Anyway, hope everything is going well for you guys, it's definitely starting to get better here! I will continue to keep ya'll updated!

Happy Birthday Diamond! Her ordeal was so sad - I'm soooo glad she's doing better. This must have been really hard on both of you - I know how it is to have a sick puppy :( ... but she sounds out of the woods... that's great news. You both deserve to celebrate and decompress. Buy her a new toy: a cuddly one - to go along with birthday kisses! (and watch her enjoy it)
