I cant really say this has been the worst christmas ever but its in the running ranks. I guess it just wasnt meant to be. Im sure there will be one out there wanting a good home.

I called her and emailed her but I dont have a cell number for her, only her house number and she said she wasnt going to be home for a few days. We are still waiting on her to call but still keeping our eyes open for another needing a home.

I am so sorry that this is happening to you. In this case, "no news is good news" doesn't hold true. It must be a huge disappointment for you and your family, and you must also be worried about Bailey - we all share those feelings with you. I would hope that pep0987 would have the courtesy to contact you if there was a change in the situation - your good heart and willingness to help out deserves that much. Something good will come to you in due time.

Don't jump to conclusions. It is the holidays; Pep0987 was dealing with an ex; a winter storm moved thru that part of the country. We all know how difficult it can be to deal with an ex at the best of times. If you start jumping to conclusions and berating a women that was having a hard time to begin with she just may not be willing to ask for help.

We are keeping our fingers crossed and hope everything is ok. We are going out of town soon and was planning on taking him with us but we only have two more days before we leave.

I just got an email saying that she just got in VA and that he ex told her that he lost Bailey. So everyone keep your fingers crossed that he is ok. We just had a big snow storm here and its pretty cold. Not the weather for a boxer to be in.

My sincere apologies for coming across in a way whereby it sounded like I was "berating" pep0987 - that is not where I was coming from at all. I know nothing about her circumstances, except what she was trying to do to help find a safe place for Bailey, and that plans had been made with RavenGirl. To those of you who know pep0987 and what is going on in her life, I am very sorry if I offended you with my post. I hope that she will be OK, and that her situation will change for the better very soon.

RavenGirl, I'm glad you finally heard something, though it was not the best news. I hope little Bailey will be safe and found soon.
