Our Roxy learned how to play dead today! We've been trying to teach her this for the past month, and she finally got it! Cutest thing ever. Still trying to get her used to not getting treats 'cause she won't do it unless there's treats. She's also beginning to understand fetch! We're so proud of her. ♥ Today is also our 3 months "anniversary"! It's so weird to think that we got Roxy 3 months ago. It feels like she's been with us for years!

That is awesome trick. I've been wanting to do that with one of the boxers but not sure if I have the patience.

Congrats on the new trick! It is great one for pups to know. My pups play dead with "bang!" We use our hand like a gun and say bang and they lay down. My vet loves that they do this. It has come in handy with Thor and his many ultrasounds.

As for Roxy always seeming to be there, I get that. They seem to fit in to our families like they have always been there. But at the same time you will turn around one day and look a gray face and wonder where all the time went. Enjoy every second!

I am so looking forward to teaching Murphy all these wonderful tricks. When we had Lisa she would catch on so quickly.
Wonder will it be the same.

Johann prefers to play "undead/zombie" dog.

Glad to hear that Roxy is catching on to these tricks so quickly and fitting into your home so well .:)

Roxy sounds like an amazing smart puppy. It is so much fun when they learn a new trick. I know what you mean too about a dog feeling like they have been with us forever. We have only had Layla four months now but it seems much longer.
