Chewy is 2 years old, and has chronic pancreatitis. We've had a tough time getting his under control. He also gets acid reflux, and indigestion occassionally and will vomit even though it's not caused by the pancreatitis. Very tough to keep weight on our boy.
At first we had him on Canidae, but he was vomitting *several* times per week. Switched to California Natural, and the vomitting reduced to maybe once a week - still not good enough. Our holistic vet put him on Hill's Z/D a couple months ago. He's been doing way better on this, vomitting maybe once every 3 weeks. We're supposed to start adding meat to it soon to try to find out if he's allergic to certain protein sources. Once we figure that out, we'll choose a new food accordingly, with a protein source that he can tolerate, and as low in fat as possible (looks like there's some good food suggestions above). 6-8% fat is nice and low. Our vet said we can give him a little people food here and there for a treat as long as it's fat free.
