Other dry food, any ideea?

Could you recommend some GOOD dry food that can be found in Canada?
Linda is feed now Puppy Performatrin. She is on free food. Her coat looks good, she eats it well, but I just wonder if there is any other better food I could feed her.

Try doing a search for "kibble." Take the name of the kibble and type it into google.com for the kibble website. The website will allow you to look up locations where the food is sold.

I can reocmmend a couple high quality kibbles:

I've been giving both my dogs Natural Balance. One gets Duck & Potato for allergies and the other gets NB Premium Blend - they are doing so fabulous on it. Their coats are silky, soft - shedding is next to nothing and No eye boogers either I get the dry and the canned - they love it, meal times are such an exciting time for them

Just curious how much you pay for the bag of Natural Balance...what size you buy and how long it lasts? I went on their website and it seems that you onlu need to feed 2 to 3 cups a day....a lot less then what i am feeding Nina on Nutro now...I know Nutro is not one of the best...but price wise it is great...with 3 kids every penny counts....but i am thinking id i fee less cups of the natural balance the price comparison might just be the same.

For the Duck & Potato I pay 14.36 for a 5 lb. bag. My minpin eats this and only eats about 1 c. per day (he weighs 16.3 lbs). The NB Premium I pay $32 for a 17 lb. bag (I think it is $52 for the huge bag which I'll get once Kirra gets bigger). My boxer (15 weeks) eats this and eats anywhere from 2 1/2 c. to 3 1/2 c. per day. She weighs about 22 lbs. She literally jumps around every meal time for her food. I also buy the canned $1.89/can and mix a couple tsps. with the dry. They absolutely love it. This is the only food that my minpin will get up for - for breakfast, he gets it dry and eats it every morning. I am extremely pleased with the results. I have fed my dogs Nutro, Iams, Nutrience, Acana, Royal Canin and nothing compares to this. The Wellness here is a little more, but I haven't tried it yet - possibly in a few months.

Cinnamon is also on Performatrin Ultra puppy food. If you dont like it, I wouldnt reccommend Wellness, because it was made to compete with wellness, so the ingredients are almost I dentical. Ive heard good things about Natural Balance. As for chicken soup, its kind of hard to find that, its genereally the mom and pop stores that sell it.

You should go to this website as it has interesting information on dog food, such as the WDJ food list and such. They don't test the food there recommendation is just made on the ingredients. The dog food that does the best for Max is Bil-Jac. The website is www.woodhavenlabs.com/dogfoods.html
