Jeff-
It's almost midnight here and I can barely type this through my tears...I literally just got up from the computer bawling and picked up my little foster boy Mason and dragged him into the den with me so I can hold on to a little nubby body while I type. In doing that, Gabe, my other foster, and my two Molly and Tyson of course followed and just looking at them getting up from their cozy beds to be with me while I'm crying is just making me cry more cuz that's what it's all about, isn't it? They just give and give and here I am thinking of you and your hurt and Orson and here they are thinking of ME, not caring about their sleep...They just know they're going to give me the nub wiggles and kisses that I need right now... You are right, they are so unselfish and love so unconditionally. Just looking into their eyes you see it all. I see things in Gabe's eyes especially as I wonder where he's been through his life...he has such a deep soul and he literally seems to just melt you down to a place where all you can do is hold his head and rest your forehead on his and he just sighs and I know that it's ME that has been blessed.
I am moved by your love and ache for you as I wonder myself how I'll ever in all my life be able to handle losing these sweet little beings. Thank you for reminding me not to take even a second for granted and thank you for loving Orson in a way that makes us all want to be a better Mommy or Daddy to our little ones.
We're here anytime--we're family.
