Poor Ginger, she must have been so confused. She was just running and playing and all of a sudden that big bad tree shoved something in her eye. I bet she won't play with that tree anymore!! You did so well with this experience. I would have passed out and would have needed an ambulance myself. I always panic when my babies (skin or fur) are hurt. It is a good thing my husband can remain calm!! Bella and I send lots of hugs and healing vibes your way!! Bella also said to tell Ginger not to play with that tree anymore!

Just again want to say thanks to all of you for thinking of Ginger. She goes to the vet Thursday for a check on the eye. I will keep you posted.
She won't have to worry about that tree anymore, all of the low branches have been trimmed and one tree in the yard has been cut down!

Just wanted to let you all know that Ginger went to the vet today. Everything is looking good so far. The vet was a little disappointed that the eye wasn't as responsive as he would want but she does have some vision in the eye. It's still early to tell if she did damage or if the problems are coming from continued swelling or the medicine. Looks like all those healing vibes are doing the job!
